Introduction
देवनारायण गुरुकुल योजना का उद्देश्य राजस्थान में आर्थिक रूप से वंचित पृष्ठभूमि के विद्यार्थियों, विशेष रूप से कक्षा 6 से 12 तक पढ़ने वाले विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा के अवसर प्रदान करना है। यह कार्यक्रम अत्यंत पिछड़े वर्ग के विद्यार्थियों को लक्षित करता है जिनके माता-पिता आयकरदाता नहीं हैं।
माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशालय द्वारा चिन्हित प्रतिष्ठित विद्यालय इस योजना के अंतर्गत प्रवेश के लिए पात्र हैं। गुरुकुल योजना के माध्यम से प्रत्येक वर्ष 500 विद्यार्थियों को प्रवेश दिया जाता है, जिससे इस उद्देश्य की पूर्ति में सहयोग मिलता है।

About the Scheme:
(स्कूल एवं संस्कृत शिक्षा विभाग) देवनारायण गुरुकुल योजना में विशेष पिछड़ा वर्ग के (कक्षा 6 से 12 तक अध्ययन) को छात्र/छात्रा जो राजस्थान के मूल निवासी हो, जिन्होने पूर्व परीक्षा में 50 प्रतिशत या इससे अधिक अंक प्राप्त किये हो तथा जिनके माता-पिता आयकर दाता नहीं हो, को माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशालय द्वारा अधिसूचित प्रतिष्ठित विद्यालयों में प्रवेश दिलवाकर शिक्षा प्राप्त करने में सहयोग हेतु देवनारायण गुरूकुल योजना लागू की गयी है।
गुरूकुल योजनान्तर्गत प्रतिवर्ष 500 विद्यार्थियों को प्रवेश देने का प्रावधान है।

Eligibility For The Scheme:
विद्यार्थी राजस्थान राज्य का मूल निवासी होना चाहिए। विद्यार्थी अति पिछड़ा वर्ग से संबंधित होना चाहिए। (i). बंजारा, बलदिया, लबाना
(ii). गाडिया-लोहार, गाडोलिया
(iii). गूजर, गुर्जर
(iv). राइका, रैबारी (देबासी)
(v). गडरिया (गाडरी), गायरी।
माता-पिता के आयकरदाता न होने का स्वघोषणा/प्रमाण पत्र। विद्यार्थी का सरकारी/मान्यता प्राप्त गैर सरकारी विद्यालय में नियमित अध्ययन करना आवश्यक है। विद्यार्थी का कक्षा 5 की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक है। एक अभिभावक के अधिकतम दो बच्चे ही प्रवेश एवं लाभ के लिए पात्र होंगे।

राज्य के कक्षा 5 उत्तीर्ण विद्यार्थियों को प्रवेश परीक्षा के माध्यम से निर्धारित संख्या में चयन कर राज्य शासन द्वारा चयनित निजी उच्च प्रतिष्ठित आवासीय विद्यालयों में कक्षा 6 में प्रवेश दिया जाता है।
